Eye emergencies can also be caused by many other factors. If you aren’t sure whether your situation is an eye emergency, err on the side of caution and seek help as soon as possible.
How to Prevent Eye Emergencies
Many eye emergencies, such as those caused by accidents or injuries, can be prevented through proper risk management and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Safety glasses are a vital tool to prevent eye emergencies caused by construction work, whether you’re on a job site or completing a DIY project at home. Sports glasses can also provide added protection and durability for on the field, the court, or the rink.
If you need safety glasses, we can assist you with a fitting for a prescription or non-prescription pair. We’d be happy to help you keep your eyes safe.
